The interpretive hinge is whether Paul’s language of spiritual death describes guilt and bondage or also fixes the order of regeneration and faith. -

Ecclesiastes 9:3: Does a Heart Full of Evil Prove Total Inability?
Ecclesiastes 9:3 says there is an evil in life under the sun: the same fate comes to all, human hearts are full of evil, madness is in them while they live, and afterward they go to the dead. -

Titus 3:3: Does Enslavement to Passions Prove Regeneration Must Precede Faith?

First John 3:10 says the children of God and the children of the devil are evident: whoever does not practice righteousness and love a brother or sister is not of God.

Reader question: Psalm 33:12 says the blessed nation is the people God chose as His heritage. -
Can God Foreknow a Free Choice Without Causing It?
Many assume that if God infallibly knows a future choice, then God must have caused that choice. The argument is common in debates over election, perseverance, and divine sovereignty.
Limited Atonement
Did Christ die for the sins of all humanity, or did He bear the punishment due for the sins of the elect alone? Does universal provision entail universal salvation?
-
2 Peter 3:9: Who Are the “Any” God Does Not Want to Perish?

Passover joins divine provision with applied protection. The type supports accomplished deliverance without answering every question about atonement’s extent. -
John 17:9: Does Jesus’ Prayer for His Disciples Support Limited Atonement?
John 17:9 teaches focused intercession for Jesus’ disciples. The prayer’s immediate object does not alone define the complete extent of the atonement. -
Revelation 5:9: Does Ransoming People from Every Nation Prove Limited Atonement?
Revelation 5:9 celebrates an accomplished ransom from every nation. Its international redeemed people do not by themselves answer every question about extent. -

First Timothy 4:10 says: "We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe."
Irresistible Grace

-

The interpretive hinge is whether Acts 7 itself distinguishes the resisted prophetic call from a second inward call that necessarily succeeds.
