Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-15

Beyond Tulip is a public theological publication. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the site or send an email.

Information the Site May Receive

The web server may record standard information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, requested page, and time of visit. If you email the site, the message may include your name, email address, and whatever information you choose to send.

Search and Reading on This Site

Article search and archive filters run in your browser. Your search terms are processed locally and are not stored by this site or sent to advertising partners. The site does not build audiences or user profiles from religious beliefs, doctrine categories, or passage-reading history, and such information is never used to target advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site itself does not set cookies before you take an action. A privacy choice is stored in your browser's local storage only after you accept, reject, or manage advertising choices, so the same choice can be respected on later visits. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies on pages where ads are shown, subject to your choices.

Google Advertising

Beyond Tulip may show advertising through Google AdSense on article pages and doctrine guides. Google, as an advertising partner, may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, IP address, browser information, and similar technologies to show ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, limit repeated ads, and personalize ads where legally permitted and where you have consented.

Learn how Google uses data when you use its partners' sites or apps: How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

You can learn about Google's advertising practices and manage personalized advertising at Google's Advertising Policies and Technologies page and Google Ad Settings. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Beyond Tulip uses a consent choice (see below) before personalized advertising is enabled, and a Google-certified consent management configuration is applied at the account level.

Search on this site happens on your own device. Search terms are never sent to advertisers and are never used to build religious-interest audiences or to target advertising.

Consent and Choices

Where consent is required for advertising cookies or personalized advertising, a consent choice appears before those technologies are used. You can accept, reject, or manage the choice, and you can change it at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page. Rejecting personalized advertising does not remove non-personalized advertising where it is legally permitted, and it does not affect the content of articles.

You can also manage many privacy choices through your browser and device settings, and through Google Ad Settings for personalized advertising from Google.

Information Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, deliver email, provide analytics, protect the site, or serve and measure advertising. Beyond Tulip does not sell personal contact information submitted by email.

Third-Party Links

Articles may link to Bible resources, publishers, scholars, archives, or other websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies. A link does not mean Beyond Tulip controls or endorses another site's privacy practices.
